Fit Yoga Body

Over the years I have had an on and off relationship with Yoga. It was only after I became more involved with competing in triathlons and focusing on strength training that I found Yoga to be my fourth discipline. It was also one of the reasons why I decided to become a certified Yoga instructor.Yoga provides the essential tools you need to foster good physical, mental, and spiritual practices such as gaining control over mind through practice of presence, managing breathing techniques and understanding body awareness. These tools also help prepare and promote mental and physical stamina through tough training and race days which could lead to very successful results. Over the years, as I practice and teach Yoga, it has become more than a key element in recovery and flexibility poses. Yoga practice has the ability to  unplug and focus on what’s going on in your body and in your life right now, relieve stress and remind you to breathe! Jaclyn Fahey
